ROADS.sg Awards Nomination & Judging Criteria
Nominations are open for this year’s ROADS.sg Awards! Through this year’s awards, we recognise outstanding contributions by companies and individuals in promoting a safer and more gracious road environment in Singapore. Additionally, our industry awards recognize excellence in customer service, sales, and innovative automotive safety features. Nominate someone today and help us honour their outstanding efforts!

Here are the nomination criteria for each category:
Most Gracious Road Users
This award recognises individuals who exhibit exemplary behaviour on the road. Examples of gracious behaviour includes, but is not limited to, the following actions: courtesy to other road users, assisting fellow motorists, assisting pedestrians, and even showing gratitude after receiving kind gestures on the road.
Road Safety Champion (Company/Association)
To be nominated for the award, a company should demonstrate exemplary or significant contributions in one or more of the following areas:
- Implementation of Safety Programmes and Initiatives: Promote awareness about road safety within the company and the broader community.
- Recognition and Reward Systems for Safety: Acknowledge employees who demonstrate exceptional road safety behaviour.
- Development or Adoption of Innovative Technologies or Practices: Enhance road safety through new technologies or practices.
- Adoption of Advanced Safety Technologies: Integrate advanced safety features into the vehicle fleet.
- Long-Term Commitment: Sustain and improve road safety standards over time.
- Tracking and Analysis of Safety Indicators: Monitor road safety performance indicators, such as accident rates, traffic violations, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions based on data-driven insights.
Road Safety Champion (Individual)
- Exemplary Driving Behaviour: Demonstrates courteous and responsible driving, including yielding the right of way, using turn signals, and avoiding aggressive driving.
- Promotion of Road Safety Awareness: Actively engages in initiatives to educate others about road safety, such as participating in community events, workshops, or campaigns.
- Long Accident-Free Record: Maintains an accident-free driving record, showcasing a history of safe driving.
- Contribution to Road Safety Innovations: Involvement in or support for innovative practices or technologies that enhance road safety.
- Positive Influence on Others: Serves as a role model for safe driving within their community, encouraging others to adopt safe driving habits.
AND in the past two years, have accumulated:
- Less than 2 complaints
- Less than 4 demerit points
- Less than 2 repeated LTA offences
Most Viral Road Kindness Video
This award celebrates the most popular and widely shared video related to kindness on the road. This category highlights engaging and impactful videos that have captured the public’s attention and hearts.
Best Automotive Safety Gear/Gadget
This award acknowledges the best automotive safety gear/gadget. The gear/gadget should demonstrate cutting-edge technology, proven effectiveness in enhancing safety, receive positive feedback and high satisfaction ratings from users, be made from high-quality materials that ensure long-lasting performance, and is regulatory compliant.
Best Car Salesman
This award recognises the car sales representative who demonstrates excellent professional salesmanship, customer service, product knowledge, and overall contribution to their dealership’s success and branding. Nominees should also exhibit strong ethical standards, ensuring honesty and integrity in all customer interactions.
Best Bike Salesman
This award honours the best bike salesman who excels in sales, customer service, product expertise, and overall contribution to their dealership’s success and branding. Nominees should also exhibit strong ethical standards, ensuring honesty and integrity in all customer interactions.
